new tees - bomby mushrooms

This tee is just a nice colour, don’t you think?. Add the nicest simplistic bomber I’ve seen in a while and some pretty sweet mushrooms and I have to have one. Another nice shirt from nuda tees. (great pun huh!)

The nuda tees blog is here, worth adding to your rss.

new tee - hired

I always appreciate good punctuation in a shirt. And a well drawn tentacle is a rare treat. Combine these factors with some reservoir dogs meets the apprentice aesthetic and you have a nice shirt. hired.jpg

I’m not sure about the transparent head, but you can’t have everything. Find it here.

chop shop desk jockey

The chop shop continues to float my boat both with the Tee designs and the webby enjoyableness of their site. I’m loving the desk jockey shirt, on the subtler end of workplace subversiveness, it also has a midget jockey!

The added bonus is that if you are bored with conversation during lunch break with your colleagues you can make them name every item on your shirt. Or maybe that just sounds fun to me… I dunno. Find it here.

get on the bread bus

If that isn’t a saying, it should be. You know those weird slices of ham with bear faces in them, or in te shape of santa claus. Children eat them. Well, some children eat them, the kind of children that turn their noses up at black pudding and puy lentils. This would be the ideal sandwich filling for bread bus bread.

Presumably you could make a tin this shape. I bake quite a lot, I should try bashing one of my older bread tins into a VW camper shape to try to recreate this shirt in real life. Buy it here, found at uneetee.com while perusing the latest competition entries.

shirt competitions: Tee Juice

In another addition to the growing ranks of tshirt design competition sites, Tee Juice.com brings a more ’sketched with a fabric pen’ vibe than most. Which I kinda like. In fact, I too love Owls. I’d love to see a whole series of these, I love Penguins, I love ducks, I love chickens. The overly shaded, slightly scratchy, drawn by an 8 year old feel is totally the opposite of the typical threadless cleancut heavily designed look.
