more kids tees
The last post reminded me, I don’t think I posted about the chopshop kids sizes. MAN these are some nice tees. Aswell as the scary robots and aliens there are some really sweet animal ones. There is no excuse for anyone to wear a Pooh Bear tee again!

Excellent. You want your nipper to get political - outrage him by sticking him in a reagan ‘76 shirt! If nothing else it’ll make the other kids think he’s old enough to remember those heady days. They’ll assume, but never say, that he’s an alien - and so give him first go on the swings in case he disolves them with his ear guns.
It’s always good when a niche teeco gets some kids sizes. It gives uncles something to get them for Christmas. Uncles never know which toy would be suitable - but they should at least know how old they are to within a year or so.

Daytee runners and winners
Another busy day on daytee yesterday, and a new winner in Tilteed with BOMBS AWAY! a slightly sinisterly gleeful dude on a bombing mission. For some reason this is pretty close to how I always pictured the disputed zones between the three megapowers in 1984 - huge clouds of cartoony loons dropping firebombs on roger rabbit before swooshing back to a floating fortress covered in plane pods to drink milkshakes… So yes, congrats to Tilteed.

Nice. Glennz hits the mark again! I can’t wait for the alps! If life was sci-fi armstrong WOULD take off. If life was sci-fi Cav would have a titanium replacement spine and liver to cut weight down. If life was sci-fi we’d be able to have some bike cams like they do in F1. That’s what they should have done on the no radio stage! replace the weight with bike cams.

Our new buddies at The Shirts Taste Good are having a good run. Their latest shirt beat a cute but scary panda and won daytee last week, and now they are giving some away on their blog. All you have to do is tell them your shirt size. That shouldn’t be too tough now - should it.
The comments are an amusing read aswell - which is unusual for ANY blog - let alone a tee blog populated by people more interested in cotton than _anything else_…

I just love the example pics in this post on pop culture tees about tee packaging.
On a slight tangent - I’ve always wanted to start a coffee company that would ship it’s coffee beans inside cuddly toys. The more expensive the beans the cuter the toy. So if you bought some generic ‘house’ beans you’d get an ugly monster with bad fur, if you ordered some specialty stuff from Yemen you’d receive them in the stomach of some amazing big eyed unicorn made of cashmere.
The postage stamps and address would be embroidered into the belly of the cuddly toy. My costs would be extreme - but the cool would be off the scale for those 4 or 5 weeks before bankruptcy.

Woot shirts worth another look
Morning people! I know, I know, the last couple of times you checked on shirt.woot.com you arrived 3 seconds before an amazing design disappeared, only to be replaced by a design that was a million miles from something you’d wear. So you figure ‘why punish myself’. I know the feeling.
But woot deserve some lovin’ - they give stacks of designers a break, and they take risks. When you take risks you sometimes print stuff that some people hate.
If you haven’t checked them for a while then next week is time to get them back in your startup tabs. Adam “Ape Lad” Koford is to curate a week of tees on the site celebrate the 2nd anniversary of the launch. Not this week - NEXT week. Starting the 20th. Expect teh spelling to be poor! I can’t wait to see what Mark F from boingboing comes up with…
