joy of life
Wow - I love green tshirts. They make me feel alive. They make me feel like a field - covered in cows eating clover. The very embodiment of a nice spring morning. This shirt even has live upon it! How double impact! Hurrah!
Get your significant other a red shirt to wear when you wear this for the festive season. To be covered with festive red and green goodness.
space invaders
I love space invaders. You can keep your PS3 - give me a vcs2600 any day. And not the fancy new model, the old one with the plastic wood and the metal switches. Mmmmm 2600.
I’d prefer a slightly muddier take on this shirt, something that looks like it was printed back in the day, those whites are a little crispy for me. But hey - it’s space on a shirt!
marioswim
Love Mario. Love frogs. Love swimming. Not MAD about light blue shirts. 3 out of 4 ain’t bad. Show your nintendlove with this nerdyshirt. If you haven’t checked nerdy for a while - go see the new site.
wrong spade
I’m loving the latest batch of twisted cartoon and gamer characters at wrongwroks. This one is like a teeshirt realisation of a nightmare you have after a night of late night cheese, late night poker, and early evening mario. Pure genius!

pirate tee
I don’t pirate music. Honest! But I know some of you rebellious young guns probably do. You might as well make it easy for the man when he comes to shoot you in the head for being evil. Wear this shirt so he gets you, not your little sister. (via boingboing)

who fought them anyway…
Space invaders. Who fought them anyway. I get bored with lengthy back stories as quickly as anyone, but I don’t even know the name of the guy, platoon, team?? doing the shooting. Thats a disgrace. Call myself a gamer! I vote we call him derek - unless anyone else knows better.
Anyway - look what derek is up against in this shirt from nerdyshirts! A kind of mega invader made up of 100s of regular invaders. Eeeek!

Talking of space invaders - tell me you don’t love this!
never mind the blocks t-shirt
I love tetris. I haven’t played it since 1998 though - I daren’t. I get all addicted and start trying to layer up TRAFFIC waiting for a bus to slide down the edge. It gets serious. It gets dangerous. And batteries for Gameboys cost too much. I recently bought the ‘ants playing Tetris’ tee from threadless which rekindled this ‘world tetrissing’ habit, so why not continue! Never mind the Blocks from Way of the Rodent. Joyously brilliant tee, although it always bugs me when Tetris designs have broken blocks - I know it’s possible, but my brain hurts when all the pieces aren’t whole. Rodent have some other great tees too - all pretty geeky / gamer.

20 ASCII T-SHIRTS
Black tshirts in the workplace are just easier to get away with than colored ones. Especially if they only have some cryptic binary joke, 2600 reference, or other geek nonsense on them in plain text. ASCII shirts. Joy! Don’t expect this to be the most colorful post you’ll ever see on OMGTees btw.
ExSysOp from fractalspin. Elegant minimalist use of the character set there.

ASCII Tank from most-awesomest.com. Comes on red and blue as well as the classic black.

Howdy is a japanese shirts, stretching the ASCII definition a little thin, but hey, lets go with it. From jbox.

Beyond ASCII, comes binary ASCII. You are Dumb from ThinkGeek geek elitism at its best.

ºoº has nothing to do with mice. Or animations. Or free stuff you get with burgers. At all. Honest.

ASCII Helicopters litter cafepress and other sites, but ROFL from ThinkGeek is the best executed, and so the one you should buy.

With ASCII comes HTML, the simplest markup is always the best. <GEEK> from ThinkGeek just confirms what everyone knew already! How do I know? You’re reading a list of ASCII Tshirts dude! Normal people just don’t do that.

TIE Fighter in ASCII. If you don’t think the <GEEK> tshirt is emphatic enough. Try this. KeyStrokeTshirts.

“You see the arrow means ‘is greater than’ in math”. Practice that phrase if you buy this tee, you’ll need it. i > u from ThinkGeek

Metal. Up yer ASCII. well yes, indeed! From Crack Smoking Shirts.

From ASCII to HEX. Black printed in black on black in hex. Shiny. #000000 from ThinkGeek

O’RLY from Zazzle.com. Again, many many many versions of this out there, but this seems the most elegantly executed.

Vincent Van Gogh’s Starry Night in ASCII. Who could resist buying this for an aunts Christmas, making her wear an ASCII shirt without even knowing it. At Computergear.com.

Emoji are Japanese emoticons. Some of them scare me. This one just looks confused. At PCR.

</emo> Poor little emo kids. Don’t let them see you wearing this. They might cry. Or gain a sense of amazing power that they drove you to change your shirt. Yet more fake HTML, but it’s all ASCII really. Another from CrackSmokingShirts.

That HEX code. Sometimes a bit of ASCII can get you in trouble. Don’t hide it on your blog, wear it on your chest. From NerdyShirts.

Space Invaders. Back in the day almost all games pretty much WERE ASCII. So immersive! From NerdyShirts.

Finally Bad Ascii, Linux, and a few others at CafePress.com (just search for ascii, there are thousands, mostly awful!) to satisfy those looking for some black on white Ascii Tee action. Don’t say we don’t look after all tastes!

If you didn’t spot anything there and you have a kick ass bit of ASCII art in your sig, just print it yourself HERE, HERE or HERE. If you do, tell us, and we might post about it.
techno retro t-shirt go
Titles make no sense, so what! love these shirts from public domain shirts, something for the muso, gamer, and photog with a hankering for times gone by and the simpler, lower tech life. This would be a pretty perfect way to spend a saturday in my book. Play some atari while listening to old blues long players, getting up to reset the player every 20 minutes, bowing the needle, and taking polaroids of my high scores at Asteroids. Man. Heaven!

new tees: just TOO gamer
I don’t know about you, but I like subtle. That said, when you have to let everyone know you’re a gamer, why not shout. That subtle mario reference, or street fighter 2 joke not enough? Try this:
scalextric : plastic + wiring = joy
The single most entertaining day I ever spent was playing scalextric (usa site)with my mates when I was 8. We tied or glued everything we could find to those little formula one cars. Amazingly good fun. We also figured out how to fix one of the triggers after breaking it through sheer slot racing excitement.
Amazingly scalextric is 50 years old. Wowza! For some reason I always picture Madness when I hear the word scalextric, probably because I used a K instead of a C once and got laughed at for spelling it SKAlextric.
Apparently you even get articulated trucks at 1:32 scale to run on those tracks. I want. Ebay here I come!
The websites are pretty cool too, this kind of chart for track layouts would have made us sooooo happy! Even better would be an editable format to let us draw our own in the same style. My track layouts RULED.
old school gamer : 2600
I loved the 2600. I love the wood panelling. I also love this shirt.
My brother actually owns about a dozen 2600s - he can’t walk past one in a games store without buying it.
I think it’s a condition, it’s like he sees them as pound puppies! When I eventually give up and buy a PS3, this is the shirt I’ll be wearing.
That or one of the Wii shirts from last week.
new tees: axe man cometh
Guitar hero playing should be taken seriously. Very seriously. No laughing, just playing. It’s a little like chess in that regard. You also have to dress well. To play properly you now have three options. The Slash look, the dinner suit, and now this tee:
new shirt: fuzzy katamari damacy tee
Two great features in one shirt. How so? Well, firstly we have a neat silhouetted rolling katamari damacy motif. Second, it’s a FUZZY FELT katamari damacy motif. Absolutely guaranteed to get people poking you in the chest. Some people like that, some people don’t. If you don’t like the fuzz, try this shirt with a seriously pink/blue battle going on.
Fuzzy felt though!, an underused fashion statement waiting to make a comeback. Buy it here.
