Medusa Monkey
Hurrah. A monkey with snakes for hair. Animal lovers get to show the love for two species at once. From Design by Humans.

This reminds me of an idea I had a while back. Basically, to spend a whole week wearing different tshirts with the same animal on it, monkeys one week, snakes the next, hippos the following week. My wardrobe (okay, drawer) allows me to spend an ‘anti mac’ week, a ‘hippy cyclist’ week and a few others, but not a week of the monkey. I need more monkey shirts.
Hate filled heart
Spitefuls is a funny collection of shirts built around the general belief that the wearer is generally … well… spiteful towards the world. Some are funnier than others, but generally the standard is good. I’m never sure about the whole ‘wear your mood’ thing. I loved the old Meh shirt from thinkgeek, but if your opinion and vehemence sharpen up during the day it starts to feel a bit… well.. Meh.

Bitterium is funny, bitter pills are amusing, but my favourite is probably the Cebu Thriller Dance Team tee. Think you can dance? Can you dance in orange? All the tees on one page here.

Click.
Simple. White. Clean. The flash site can take a week to load on a dodgy shared connection, but stick with it, you want one of these. From Grafik Noise. This is geek without the geek.

One small nit-picky criticism. The url on the front of the tee seems to big to me. Gameskins used to get the size JUST ABOUT right - with a nice tiny light font. You couldn’t read from a distance, but if anyone wanted to get your shirt, they just asked, because they could see it said something there.
Doradimon
Some shirts just don’t need any explanation. Trust me. A new classic from WrongWroks. Their blog is well worth adding to your reader for random stylish entertainment and the earliest heads up on their newest tees. The good stuff sells out QUICK.

Startup schwag
I just received the latest startup schwag package on return from my new years break. Sign up for yours here.

It’s an interesting collection of stickers and another cool tee. Now lets be honest, I’d never go into a store and shout ‘yay -that’s exactly the tee I’m after’. But hey - it has a certain geek value. It’s not as in your face as the techcrunch or reddit shirts, so is a bit more wearable.
It also seems to work for the company on the front of the tee - as I felt compelled to open an imeem account just in case someone asked me about the tee.

The team at startup schwag also take things pretty seriously - allowing you to spec a different size when the tee will be printed on AA for example. Essential for some. The occassional spoilers on the blog could be better flagged though - half the fun is in not knowing what’s going to arrive on the doorstep.
I know of a few other monthly tee schemes, but they tend to exist outwith the usual tee sites - and be totally nichey. If you know of any drop me a line. I have a feeling that 2008 will be the year of the obscure tshirt.
inner robot
I’ve seen a few ‘inner robot’ shirts around, but this one from Partybots kinda does the business for me. The robodude on the left just looks like he could kill you with his broken heart. He’d grab one half in each hand and use the serrated edges to cut your head off.
The robodude in the middle would laugh, and orange guy on the right would shout ‘no - don’t do it - he ain’t worth it’. Probably. Buy it here anyways.

SHARK!!! SHARK!! SHARK!
I love a good ascii tee. This one from Lucky Threads avoids the black, going for a more appropriate sea colored blue. Why? Sharks! Personally, I could live without the L33+. But hey - SHARK ATTACK doesn’t look as cool as SH@2K @77@CK now, does it?

who fought them anyway…
Space invaders. Who fought them anyway. I get bored with lengthy back stories as quickly as anyone, but I don’t even know the name of the guy, platoon, team?? doing the shooting. Thats a disgrace. Call myself a gamer! I vote we call him derek - unless anyone else knows better.
Anyway - look what derek is up against in this shirt from nerdyshirts! A kind of mega invader made up of 100s of regular invaders. Eeeek!

Talking of space invaders - tell me you don’t love this!
never mind the blocks t-shirt
I love tetris. I haven’t played it since 1998 though - I daren’t. I get all addicted and start trying to layer up TRAFFIC waiting for a bus to slide down the edge. It gets serious. It gets dangerous. And batteries for Gameboys cost too much. I recently bought the ‘ants playing Tetris’ tee from threadless which rekindled this ‘world tetrissing’ habit, so why not continue! Never mind the Blocks from Way of the Rodent. Joyously brilliant tee, although it always bugs me when Tetris designs have broken blocks - I know it’s possible, but my brain hurts when all the pieces aren’t whole. Rodent have some other great tees too - all pretty geeky / gamer.

polaroid tee
Polaroid cameras. They have to make a phone with one of those in, so it prints out there and then. Steve Jobs, you listening? I’ll buy an iPhone when it comes with a polaroid function.
Anyway - nice tee from Sean Tubridy. The site has other cool stuff, stickers, robots and rayguns. Hurrah!

See more here. Found on Flickr Tee Pools.
Heroes - Hurrah
Joyous shirt from NerdyShirts featuring everyones favourite ‘think hard and bend time’ face from Heroes, Hiro Nakamura. I’m not quite sure why he has to concentrate so much while the cheerleader just gets better without trying. The pink and grey makes it perfect for a slightly retro trip to the gym. Or is that just me? get it here

valleyschwag the second
Startup Schwag is the reincarnation of valley schwag - that great but deceased company that sent out web2.0 company tshirts, stickers, and other crap. I still use my movable type keyring, and wear my video egg shirt from carepackage 2.

Go on, sign up, $15 a month for web2.0 cool!
international standard tshirt number
A cool idea posted on inventoids.com about a way to standardise Tshirt naming - making reordering easier. Vastly complex, but quite a cool idea.
Ultimate LEGO Tee List
My interest in lego has been rekindled by the latest podbrix release - young Woz and Jobs! Very neat. Some lego tees:
Classic PodBrix
The classic Brix Tee is sold out again, but will return sometime I’m sure.

ROCK
This is probably my favourite shirt on the list. The details are beautiful - just look at that hand! Joy! Rock on LEGO style. Well done Old Crappy Tee.

Hairdresser
The lego store does a stack of excellent LEGO geek t-shirts, my favourite is this hair swap shirt. Swapping the hair on a LEGO dude to give him a disguise because he just murdered Barbie was always fun!

Who Dun It
This decapitation tee from NoiseBot is pretty cool. A bloody and gruesome take on the headless LEGO dude theme.

Zombie
And why would anyone decapitate a LEGO dude you ask? Because they turn into LEGO Zombies. The Tshirt of the 19″ scupture from Dead Zebra. Subtle stuff!

One small step
I’m pretty sure I’m missing the joke with this tee - but I kinda like it’s poor photoshopping.

Organised
Another Zazzle shirt, this is more organised than my legos ever got. I like the slight Beavis and Butt head quality to the drawing.

Star Wars
Personall, I don’t get LEGO star wars. I played star wars with lego - I didn’t need LEGO dudes shaped like Luke and c3PO. Ho hum!

Headless
Not threadless, headless. This tee from Moji approaches perfect, it is just the mullet of ROCK that keeps this off my #1 spot. Previously reviewed here.

20 ASCII T-SHIRTS
Black tshirts in the workplace are just easier to get away with than colored ones. Especially if they only have some cryptic binary joke, 2600 reference, or other geek nonsense on them in plain text. ASCII shirts. Joy! Don’t expect this to be the most colorful post you’ll ever see on OMGTees btw.
ExSysOp from fractalspin. Elegant minimalist use of the character set there.

ASCII Tank from most-awesomest.com. Comes on red and blue as well as the classic black.

Howdy is a japanese shirts, stretching the ASCII definition a little thin, but hey, lets go with it. From jbox.

Beyond ASCII, comes binary ASCII. You are Dumb from ThinkGeek geek elitism at its best.

ºoº has nothing to do with mice. Or animations. Or free stuff you get with burgers. At all. Honest.

ASCII Helicopters litter cafepress and other sites, but ROFL from ThinkGeek is the best executed, and so the one you should buy.

With ASCII comes HTML, the simplest markup is always the best. <GEEK> from ThinkGeek just confirms what everyone knew already! How do I know? You’re reading a list of ASCII Tshirts dude! Normal people just don’t do that.

TIE Fighter in ASCII. If you don’t think the <GEEK> tshirt is emphatic enough. Try this. KeyStrokeTshirts.

“You see the arrow means ‘is greater than’ in math”. Practice that phrase if you buy this tee, you’ll need it. i > u from ThinkGeek

Metal. Up yer ASCII. well yes, indeed! From Crack Smoking Shirts.

From ASCII to HEX. Black printed in black on black in hex. Shiny. #000000 from ThinkGeek

O’RLY from Zazzle.com. Again, many many many versions of this out there, but this seems the most elegantly executed.

Vincent Van Gogh’s Starry Night in ASCII. Who could resist buying this for an aunts Christmas, making her wear an ASCII shirt without even knowing it. At Computergear.com.

Emoji are Japanese emoticons. Some of them scare me. This one just looks confused. At PCR.

</emo> Poor little emo kids. Don’t let them see you wearing this. They might cry. Or gain a sense of amazing power that they drove you to change your shirt. Yet more fake HTML, but it’s all ASCII really. Another from CrackSmokingShirts.

That HEX code. Sometimes a bit of ASCII can get you in trouble. Don’t hide it on your blog, wear it on your chest. From NerdyShirts.

Space Invaders. Back in the day almost all games pretty much WERE ASCII. So immersive! From NerdyShirts.

Finally Bad Ascii, Linux, and a few others at CafePress.com (just search for ascii, there are thousands, mostly awful!) to satisfy those looking for some black on white Ascii Tee action. Don’t say we don’t look after all tastes!

If you didn’t spot anything there and you have a kick ass bit of ASCII art in your sig, just print it yourself HERE, HERE or HERE. If you do, tell us, and we might post about it.
ponies, ponies, ponies
I’m a guy. I still want to play video games all day, eat whole bars of chocolate, shoot people with toy guns and have them jump in the air shouting ‘Auuurrrrghhhhhh’. I want to climb trees and drop things on people as they walk by. I want to give people nicknames. I want to ride a bike really fast down a lumpy hill while girls watch. I want to juggle. Well.
As I said. I’m a guy. Not all people are guys. Some are girls:
