yeti feet envy
Poor old Yeti - but about time Threadless got me interested again. I’ve been a bit bored with them for a few months. I love the feel of this one though:

I’ve often thought that Yeti can’t exist exactly because of the big feet. He’d need big feet to not fall through the snow. But he’d need tiny feet because big feet would lose too much heat. I remember getting into a fight when I was about 10 over that. Jeez - 10 years old and arguing about the physics of mythic creature feet. Loser!
schwag again
Boy the first month of the year disappeared quick didn’t it. Schwag packages now mark the months for me - which is nice. This month - Mashable. I didn’t bother taking any pics as I think someone else got that covered a little better than I could. Gotta love those potatos!

pirate tee
I don’t pirate music. Honest! But I know some of you rebellious young guns probably do. You might as well make it easy for the man when he comes to shoot you in the head for being evil. Wear this shirt so he gets you, not your little sister. (via boingboing)

Click.
Simple. White. Clean. The flash site can take a week to load on a dodgy shared connection, but stick with it, you want one of these. From Grafik Noise. This is geek without the geek.

One small nit-picky criticism. The url on the front of the tee seems to big to me. Gameskins used to get the size JUST ABOUT right - with a nice tiny light font. You couldn’t read from a distance, but if anyone wanted to get your shirt, they just asked, because they could see it said something there.
Doradimon
Some shirts just don’t need any explanation. Trust me. A new classic from WrongWroks. Their blog is well worth adding to your reader for random stylish entertainment and the earliest heads up on their newest tees. The good stuff sells out QUICK.

Landmark Smackdown
If nations battled using landmarks, not troops, this is what CNN would look like. France kicking everyone else’s ass! This seems to be the perfect t-shirt for the vast French community living in London (biggest French population outside France - quiz fact). Show your national pride Froggy peeps! Show it!

FunkRush has some other nice stuff. The illustrative feel is so calming, in a totally violent way. I’m also enjoyin’ Cat Lampion:

I heart rehab
Love and Tug is a pretty weird name for a teeco. Saying that, I’m struggling to think of a teeco without a weird name. I’m enjoying the rehab shirt they are running at the moment. I’m also enjoying the tone of the site - which has a slight randomness to it. Buying tshirts should never be TOO straightforward don’t you think.

They really need to start growing some nice clematis up that trellis though.
Peace Gear
I love getting a parcel. It’s a good start to the day. I love getting a parcel with a good tee in it most, obviously. And above all, I love getting a parcel with a good bike related tee. Cycling in a cool bike tee on a nice trail on a nice day… definition of yay!
For those who just come here for the pics and the links. Here’s the link: Peace Gear @ Art in the Age .com and the pics.

The shirt is hand printed on a quality American Apparel shirt, in a borderline black grey, so quality is top notch. The printing is crisp, and nicely textured - part of the shirt, not hovering just above waiting to fall off in the dryer. I love the design, perfect for the dark green cyclist.

Another thing that I’ve posted about before is the quality of a tshirts label. Top notch HUGE labels from art in the age of mechanical reproduction. Proper ‘hang it on a locker peg’ sized. Great fun.

And one last thing, and possibly the kick off of a new competition. I found a scary ghost face with a crown in the tee. Look! He looks a little concerned though. Poor guy. If you spot any others drop me a comment! The best one wins a tshirt and some stickers and stuff, or something like that. Email steve@omgtees.com with your entry.

CTU - like Jack
When it comes to 24 tees I’m usually left cold, but this one seems to be making me smile. Just don’t wear it to the airport.
I reckon Jack Bauer should turn up in Heroes at some point, as his regenerative qualities are close to those of the cheerleader. Slap him for a month, and all he needs is 5 minutes peace and a glass of water and he can kill 18 guys with a spoon.
ghosty boogie monster
The boogie monster is a peculiar beast. We all know they exist, but we don’t know what they look like. Until now.
I’m pretty sure this is a tee with some boogie monsters on. Excellent. I need ponder this problem no longer. It also has a nice ‘lower back boogie monster’ shouting black sea!, the name of the teeco responsible.

Also, how happy does this pic make you on their homepage? Very! That’s how happy. Happy and jumpy.

yeah okay
Two things to tell you about this new shirt from Commune_. One is that it looks like something robert crumb would draw if you asked him to draw ‘yeah okay’ on a shirt. The other is that the flash site that sells it is good fun almost solely because it flickers ‘LOADING’ at you regularly, but you don’t mind!
Trust me, pay them a visit.

cool beans
A new site to me, Wunjo has some pretty nice abstract but characterful tees.
Cool Beans shown below in Guys and Gals style reminds me of an old Threadless tee - but with the addition of a cool car. And what tee isn’t improved with the addition of a cool car?
We even have a discount code for OMGTees readers, the code is WJTEN and knocks 10% off orders without any restrictions, it expires on December 31, 2007.

BEARS - scary!
I love the feel of this tee from defunker. Probably because old survival books, ray mears, and yogi bear combined to give me many MANY nightmares as a young ‘un. Most of them centered around me trying to create fire to fend off the evil animals. If only I’d had this neat yellow tee, I could have known to just stay in town.
I suspect this shirt will just keep getting better and better as it gets older. Actually, I’ll bet you $20!

$10 Threadless Sale - AGAIN!
These $10 threadless sales seem to come around more quickly these days - or maybe I’m just getting old and jaded. I am NOT going to buy any this time around though - I still haven’t worn a couple from last time. I have to say though, the cowboys and indians shirt is pretty sweet.
beetlemech
Beetlebots - who hasn’t had nightmares about mechanoid insects dragging them into alienesque burrows to eat their souls and / or brains. Or is that just me? Too much robot wars back in the day!
I’ve been meaning to point to Dans site for an AGE now - as some of his designs are genuinely good fun, and his photography is top notch. It always gives you an idea of how seriously a teeco takes life - the extent to which they find locations to suit their shirts. Top marks on that front. Go on - buy a beetle for someones christmas.

Note - the flash site can make browsing a bit slow - but it’s worth the bother. Honest.
stab that post-it
How I missed this last week at uneetee.com I don’t know. Sums up the feeling of a pointless monday morning at your desk when you are still clinging to that sense of freedom from the weekend, and haven’t been gripped yet by the challenges and mental workouts awaiting you in the week ahead.
Okay, so most of us still feel like that on Friday afternoon… but thats a good thing - it means you can wear this tee all week. Hurrah.
